Artist Colony is a “village” simulation recreation that revolutionizes the genre. On June 28, 2008, footage of the sport was released which included Screenshots and recreation-play. This stirred up quite a ruckus and three days later many web sites reported a petition regarding the artwork style which was used. Customers needed a “darker and more lifelike” really feel to the sport. In the petition there have been references to the similarities of Diablo III and World of Warcraft games. Including the alleged lack of “gentle radius” from former video games, the “colourful cartoon-like” visuals and “out-of-proportion” character figures as well as armor.
