Originally announced for a 2021 release in Japan iOS and Android last month, FuRyu’s The Alliance Alive HD Remastered is releasing next week. The Alliance Alive HD Remastered is a remaster of the Nintendo 3DS JRPG The Alliance Alive that had great music and interesting gameplay with charming visuals. In October 2019, The Alliance Alive HD Remastered released on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The Alliance Alive HD Remastered on iOS and Android is based on that release from FuRyu and it features the HD remaster’s improvements. Shaun reviewed the Nintendo Switch version of The Alliance Alive HD Remastered and had a lot of good things to say. Read his review here. Today, FuRyu announced the The Alliance Alive HD Remastered iOS and Android release date. Watch the trailer for The Alliance Alive HD Remastered below:

Originally listed for a January 25th release, The Alliance Alive HD Remastered will launch on February 1st on both iOS and Android. It is available to pre-order at a 32{72fac96fb8a068703572150b1f107310d4a58cf34158e9799732d1314586e298} off discount right now on the App Store. The regular price 3,420 Yen which is about $33. As usual, I’m curious to see how this iOS version looks and runs compared to the mobile version. We recently had SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated! hit mobile as a premium release that is a way better experience than the Nintendo Switch version technically.

If you’d like to check the Japanese release of The Alliance Alive HD Remastered out, you can pre-order it on the App Store for iOS here and Google Play for Android here. As of now, a localisation has not been announced. I really wish more Japanese developers that had their games localised in the West through external publishers would consider releasing the mobile versions worldwide either through those partners or on their own since a localisation already exists alongside these new mobile ports. Check out the official game website here and Steam page for The Alliance Alive HD Remastered here. Have you played The Alliance Alive HD Remastered or the original game yet?
