The organisation cited in a release that the new hires reflect Team Liquid’s commitment toward ‘wider content and fandom goals’. Team Liquid also emphasised Liquid Media, the company’s B2B agency, as a very important pillar of the company’s growth.

Blair Herter is expected to spearhead Liquid Media’s growth as its new Managing Director. Herter joins Team Liquid from American TV network G4, where he was the platform’s Senior Vice President of Brand.

Herter is joined by Josie Brown, the former Head of Brand and Culture Lab Marketing at Hulu and former Group Brand Director at Zambezi. Brown is tasked with leveraging her experience to help ‘continue the momentum’ for Team Liquid.

Claire Hungate, President and Chief Operating Officer of Team Liquid, commented: “Part of my goal in joining Team Liquid was to ensure that every single part of our business matches up to the gold standard set by our competitive teams.

“I’m fully confident that Josie, Blair, and Jennifer are the right people to help Team Liquid excel in this next growth phase.”

Lastly, Jennifer Gares joins Liquid as the new Senior Director of Talent, having previously worked for notable companies including Red bull, Kingston HyperX, Cloud9 and Forge. Most recently she was the Opperations Manager at management and advisory firm Loaded.
