Ever since iOS 14 started revealing upcoming Apple Arcade releases, I’ve noticed a lot more developers are now posting about their upcoming games ahead of release. Before this change, developers and even Apple waited until the release date or until the game was out to announce a new Apple Arcade release. Slash Quest! () developed by Big Green Pillow and Mother Gaia and published by Noodlecake was a game revealed for the service recently. This is the publisher’s fourth Apple Arcade release following The Enchanted World, Posessions., and Towaga: Among Shadows. What makes Slash Quest! worth checking out is the gameplay isn’t about you playing as a normal adventurer. The main character is a talking sword named Swordie who joins a local shepherd called Shep while looking for the Queen. Swordie is actually the one in control with Shep just getting dragged along for the adventure. Watch the Slash Quest! Apple Arcade trailer below showing off some gameplay:

As with other Noodlecake releases, Slash Quest! looks great and the gameplay shown off in the trailer looks like it will lead to some hilarious battles. Slash Quest! has native controller support, loads of upgrade possibilities and boss battles in its dozen different levels. You can get Slash Quest! on Apple arcade here on the App Store.
