Last month, Sky: Children of the Light (Free) from thatgamecompany was updated to bring in support for the Season of Dreams pre-order, gifting, and more. Sky: Children of the Light was Apple’s iPhone Game of the Year for 2019 and also an Apple Design Awards winner at WWDC 2020. Since launch, it has been getting updated regularly with new seasons, fixes, and other content and the game is beginning the new year with the Season of Dreams today. Sky: Children of the Light Season of Dreams is currently live on iOS and Android and it brings in a new tale that follows a young skater who aspires to perform for the kingdom’s coliseum. Players will experience this through the skater’s memories across multiple training courses. The Valley of Triumph realm has two new areas added as well with the Season of Dreams. As mentioned in the last update, the Days of Feast event ended yesterday. Watch the Sky: Children of the Light Season of Dreams trailer (with amazing music and visuals as usual) for iOS and Android below:
The Season of Dreams features in-game can be activated by buying the $9.99 adventure pass in-game or through gifting the $19.99 three pack bundle. Barring the headline feature of the new tale, this season also includes Tier 2 Heart Capes, new expressions, new memories, and more. Sky: Children of the Light is set for a Spring 2021 release on Nintendo Switch with more platforms to be revealed later. Sky: Children of the Light is now available for free on iOS and Android. Check it out on Android on Google Play here and for iOS on the App Store here. Check out our forum thread for more discussion around the game. We featured it as our Game of the Week when it launched as well. Have you been playing Sky: Children of the Light regularly and what do you hope to see from it in 2021?
