SaGa Frontier Remastered is a remaster of the original PlayStation classic for iOS, Android, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC set for release next month worldwide. SaGa Frontier‘s debut was back in 1997 in Japan and 1998 in North America on the original PlayStation. Square Enix bringing back so many SaGa games is great to see and the inclusion of iOS and Android versions of newer SaGa releases from the company is appreciated given how many of them perform a lot better than the Nintendo Switch versions in my experience. After SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions ($29.99), Romancing SaGa 3 ($27.99), and Romancing SaGa 2 ($17.99) arrived in the West, Square Enix is bringing SaGa Frontier Remastered to iOS and Android worldwide as the first premium SaGa release following Romancing SaGa Re;Universe which is free to play. Pre-orders and pre-registrations for SaGa Frontier Remastered have just gone live on the App Store and Google Play worldwide. Watch the trailer for SaGa Frontier Remastered below:
If you’ve not kept up with this remaster, SaGa Frontier Remastered also includes Fuse as an added playable character, new events, upgraded graphics, and more over the original release. It releases on April 15th for iOS, Android, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It is priced at $24.99 and pre-orders had previously gone live across consoles and PC. You can now pre-order SaGa Frontier Remastered on the App Store for iOS here and pre-register for it on Google Play for Android here. The download size listed on the App Store is 2.1GB. I’m curious what fans of the original PlayStation game think of the newer visuals and added in content here. What is your favourite SaGa game on mobile or Nintendo Switch and are you planning on buying this?
