It has been a while since Apple brought more than one game to Apple Arcade in a week. Over the last few weeks, there has usually been one new game every week or so with a few big updates alongside new games. Updates for Little Orpheus and Necrobarista recently hit the service with following Oceanhorn spin-off, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon. Both of today’s new releases are very interesting and different. NUTS is a surveillance mystery game with full voice acting and striking visuals. The reveal trailer for the game for Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms looked great but having played it for a bit now, I’m very impressed with the gameplay and the visuals. Watch the NUTS trailer below:

Today’s second release is Spire Blast from Orbital Knight. Spire Blast is a matching game that has you trying to collapse towers with different objectives. It also features powerups and feels quite weird to me because in the time I played it earlier today, I kept having to remind myself that this will not be full of things pushing me to buy in app purchases. My only real complaint here is that it is forced portrait on iPad as of now. It includes controller support but I can’t imagine using a controller over touchscreen for this game on iOS. Watch the Spire Blast gameplay video below:
